    Jackie's Story

My name is Jackie Rennie. My work combines frontline healthcare experience, consumer education, and digital communication. Over the years I have worked alongside people managing complex health concerns, carers supporting loved ones at home, families navigating difficult care decisions, and community organisations helping people access essential services.

I have seen how easily people become lost in medical terminology, generic handouts, and fragmented advice that does not reflect their individual needs. Bladder and bowel concerns carry extra weight because they are often accompanied by embarrassment, uncertainty, and silence. Many people do not know what information applies to them, what questions to ask, or where to begin.

PelviGuide was developed to close that gap. Rather than adding another overwhelming library of information, it helps you find relevant guidance and move through practical steps at your own pace, in a private space that respects your dignity.

    Why PelviGuide Exists

When bladder or bowel concerns arise, the first response is often to search for answers. What follows can feel overwhelming: dense medical language, handouts that assume you already know the basics, services scattered across different providers, and the quiet worry that you are asking the wrong questions.

PelviGuide was built to meet people where they actually are: at the beginning, looking for a clear place to start. It brings together plain-language education, practical pelvic floor support, and trusted service links in one calm, private space.
